The Legion of Life program supports and protects law enforcement personnel around the world, encouraging officers to wear their body armor by providing a no-cost replacement vest to any officer who is saved in the line of duty while wearing a ballistic product made by American Body Armor. In addition, the Legion of Life program makes a donation to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund on behalf of every officer recognized by a Legion of Life incident.
Since its inception, the Legion of Life program has provided more than 500 replacement vests to officers whose lives have been saved by body armor while serving their community. In addition to the continuous support of the safety of police, military and security professionals through Legion of Life, body armor manufacturers also strive for vigilant improvement of products through real-life performance.
